- We prioritize education and upbringing
- We want to improve the quality of school meals
- Every child in the city deserves a safe school and a safe journey to school
- We emphasize strengthening cooperation between local businesses and educational institutions
- We utilize robotics education to create new jobs
- We want to offer real choices for families by increasing support for private daycare
A CULTURAL AND WELL-BEING-ORIENTED RIIHIMÄKI
- We believe the city should provide financial support for the schools providing Basic Education in the Arts programme
- Riihimäki has a rich cultural scene that must be preserved
- We will maintain and develop Riihimäki’s excellent outdoor, hiking and other local sports facilities
- Our policy is that the city must offer affordable facilities for sports and recreational activities
A SUSTAINABLE AND SAFE RIIHIMÄKI
- We aim to strengthen Riihimäki’s position as a pioneer in the circular economy, actively pursuing growth and new jobs
- Renovation and repurposing of existing buildings will be our primary option
- We want Riihimäki’s water utility to remain fully city-owned and maintain the city’s reputation for clean water
- We will promote community-based housing opportunities for the elderly
- Every child and young person in Riihimäki should have access to meaningful hobbies
- We do not tolerate school bullying
- We will pay special attention to preventing youth marginalization, gang formation, and substance abuse
- Riihimäki’s emergency preparedness and the contingency plan must always be up to date
- We promote citizen participation in decision-making.
