  • We emphasize strengthening cooperation between local businesses and educational institutions
  • We utilize robotics education to create new jobs
  • We want to offer real choices for families by increasing support for private daycare

A CULTURAL AND WELL-BEING-ORIENTED RIIHIMÄKI

  • We believe the city should provide financial support for the schools providing Basic Education in the Arts programme
  • Riihimäki has a rich cultural scene that must be preserved
  • We will maintain and develop Riihimäki’s excellent outdoor, hiking and other local sports facilities
  • Our policy is that the city must offer affordable facilities for sports and recreational activities

A SUSTAINABLE AND SAFE RIIHIMÄKI

  • We aim to strengthen Riihimäki’s position as a pioneer in the circular economy, actively pursuing growth and new jobs
  • Renovation and repurposing of existing buildings will be our primary option
  • We want Riihimäki’s water utility to remain fully city-owned and maintain the city’s reputation for clean water
  • We will promote community-based housing opportunities for the elderly
  • Every child and young person in Riihimäki should have access to meaningful hobbies
  • We do not tolerate school bullying
  • We will pay special attention to preventing youth marginalization, gang formation, and substance abuse
  • Riihimäki’s emergency preparedness and the contingency plan must always be up to date
